A St. Anne's Catholic Church Wedding: Marcus & Aimee Lopez

My favorite part about taking pictures is not taking pictures at all, it’s meeting all the people, forming relationships with them, and praying for them! The experience/encounter/mood/atmosphere, whatever you want to call it, is almost more important to me than taking pictures! The laughter, the tears, the nervous moments are everything on a wedding day, and when I walk away from a wedding and don’t just feel like I did my best, but that I made new friendships, thats when I know I did what I set out to do! Obviously I do everything I can to take the best pictures I can, but you get the point.

Young, seemingly innocent, wholesome, and in love is how I would describe Marcus and Aimee! Aimee got ready in her house with all her best friends and mom surrounding her while Marcus got ready in Sugar Mill Pond, where they would later meet for their first look and alone time together. They were married by Aimee’s cousin, Fr Michael Richard in St. Anne’s, the church she grew up attending, and closed out the celebration at The Madison. All in all, it was a great celebration and I walked away that night feeling that two people who were meant to be, became partners for life! Thank you Marcus and Aimee for having me, I hope these pictures do your memory justice for a long time to come!
